Our story

Family Legacy, New Chapter

The history behind HoneyBee & Hoss at Car-Vel Skate Center is rooted in a deep family legacy. The rink was established by Carl and Velma, and the name Car-Vel was created as a lasting tribute to them.

HoneyBee & Hoss carries that heritage forward with a fresh, character-driven identity for the Leon Valley community. It keeps the rink's rhythm, joy, and family values front and center while giving the next generation a bright new way to celebrate.

Hours of Operation & Open Skating

Monday and Wednesday are closed for public skating. Private-party bookings remain available in two-hour increments.

Monday

Closed for public skating — private-party booking only, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM in two-hour increments.

Tuesday

Throwback Tuesday — 6:30 PM–9:00 PM. $12.00 admission.

Wednesday

Closed for public skating — private-party booking only, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM in two-hour increments.

Thursday

Adult Night — 8:00 PM–11:00 PM. Ages 18+, $15.00. BYOB and weekly specials.

Friday

All Skate — 7:00 PM–10:00 PM. $15.00 admission.

Saturday

Public Skate — 1:00 PM–4:00 PM or 7:00 PM–10:00 PM. $15.00 admission.

Private parties — 11:30 AM–1:30 PM and 4:30 PM–6:30 PM.

Sunday

Family Day — 2:00 PM–5:00 PM. $15.00 per child; parents free. Skate rental $5.00.
