Skating Waiver & Safety Policy
Page updated October 4, 2026
General admission uses wristbands carrying waiver wording; visitors are not routinely required to sign a separate waiver. Please review the wording on your wristband and ask staff about anything you do not understand. This page provides safety information, the official Texas law, and the text of our separately available online waiver. Reading this page does not create an electronic signature.

Wristbands and the online form
For general admission, the rink provides wristbands with waiver wording. Ask staff about the wristband notice and follow posted rink rules.
If you use our separate online waiver form, complete one form per participant. That form requires parent or legal guardian information and a guardian signature for a participant under 18. These are instructions for the online form, not a statement that every general-admission visitor must sign it.
Have your contact details and emergency contact ready. The form includes an alcohol acknowledgment and a typed signature; the submission date and time are recorded automatically. Optional medical information can help you tell staff about conditions or limitations that affect your participation.
Class signup is available on the same form. Signing up or submitting a waiver does not mean a class or party payment has been completed; payment is handled separately.
Skating safety and equipment
- Skate within your ability and keep control of your speed and direction.
- Follow posted signs, skating traffic directions, and instructions from staff and floor guards.
- Watch for other skaters and objects. Do not push, race, weave recklessly, carry another person, sit on rink walls, or engage in horseplay.
- Check rental skates before use and tell staff about any fit, wheel, or equipment concern. Stop using equipment if something feels unsafe.
- Keep food and drinks off the skating floor as described in the agreement below.
- Tell staff promptly about an injury, spill, obstruction, damaged equipment, or other safety concern. In an emergency, seek immediate help.
Falls and collisions can occur even when rules are followed. If you are unsure about an activity or your ability to participate, ask staff before entering the skating floor. The existing agreement allows staff to stop participation or remove guests for unsafe behavior or rule violations.
Alcohol and impairment
Do not skate while intoxicated or impaired by alcohol, medication, controlled substances, or anything affecting balance, judgment, coordination, or reaction time. Our waiver includes a separate alcohol acknowledgment. Anyone purchasing, possessing, or consuming alcohol must meet the age and identification requirements in that agreement and follow applicable laws and staff instructions.
Staff may refuse alcohol service, remove an unsafe participant from the skating floor, or require a guest to leave as described in the agreement.
Party food and booking policies
For Package 1 and Package 2 public-session parties, birthday cake is allowed; other outside food and drinks are not permitted. Private parties may bring outside food and drinks. Alcohol for private parties requires staff approval and a $300 upcharge. Approval does not allow impaired skating.
Party deposits are non-refundable. Contact staff about rescheduling; requests are subject to approval. Refer to your booking confirmation and selected package for the details that apply to your event.

Roller Skating Rink Waiver, Release of Liability, and Alcohol Acknowledgment
Current signing version: 2026-09-13-v1
Important: This form is intended as a general waiver template for a roller skating rink and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before use, especially for Texas-specific requirements and alcohol service policies.
If the participant is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must complete this section.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that roller skating is a physical recreational activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, slips, trips, collisions with other skaters, contact with walls, rails, benches, rental equipment, rink surfaces, lighting changes, music, crowds, skate malfunction, wrist injuries, ankle injuries, head injuries, bruises, cuts, sprains, fractures, serious injury, disability, property damage, or death.

Texas roller-skating law
Read the full official Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 759: Roller-Skating Centers.
Chapter 759 sets out responsibilities for rink operators, skaters, and spectators. Skaters must follow posted warnings and staff directions, control their skating, remain aware of others, stay within their abilities, and avoid conduct that could injure others. Spectators must follow posted warnings applicable to them.
The chapter also addresses operator responsibilities, including floor guards, surface and rental-equipment maintenance, and required signs. It includes liability provisions and explains how a child's conduct is evaluated. This is a summary; consult the official text for the complete provisions.
The law, wristband notice, and online waiver are separate. A website link is not a signature and does not replace required on-site notices. The waiver does not remove responsibilities or rights that cannot legally be waived.
